Follica launched its first product—a botanical scalp oil grounded in everyday wellness, built on the belief that healthy hair starts at the scalp. The challenge was to create a visual identity that balanced nature, science, and modern self-care, while remaining credible and intentional for an ingredient-aware, visually literate audience.

My Role

To translate Follica’s philosophy into a visual language that felt calm, honest, and usable in daily rituals. That meant understanding how the product would live in someone’s bathroom, how it would feel in their hands, and what kind of emotional tone it should carry. Soft, warm tones and gentle forms replaced anything overly clinical or decorative, creating a sense of quiet focus. Ingredients and purpose were clearly communicated, allowing the product story to lead without visual overload.
