Souschef: Optimising Canteen Operations

ISS provides workplace and facility management services to large corporations, many of which have in-house canteens. Canteen chefs currently plan weekly or monthly lunch menus using Excel sheets. These menus are then passed to the marketing team, who create visual banners to display the daily lunch options for employees. This process usually takes a total of 2-3 business days.

The Challenge

Help ISS save time and money while reducing administrative tasks for chefs by cutting the menu planning process from 2-3 business days to just 1 hour.

This resulted in a fully functional SaaS platform featuring a comprehensive dashboard and a streamlined user experience that supports efficient workflows for chefs and canteen managers. With its clean, minimal design and minimal onboarding requirements, the platform has now been adopted by more than 50 canteen locations across Copenhagen.
